For their bi-annual “Family Reunion” meeting, our client company has traditionally closed their gathering with a team event that is mostly fun but also has a learning aspect to it. They called on Mary O’Connor and Co. to create a program that could stretch the value even fuller, and we did so with our exclusive service Event Ever After™.

Working with the client, the host city, the Police Athletic League and a large bicycle supplier, we created a team bicycle building event with a twist: children from local neighborhoods in need were secretly brought in to surprise the group of 1,300 in their teams, help finish the bikes, and receive them – not to mention the parade of 400 bicycles that we led through the convention center.

Our team’s ability to generate commitment to our clients at the local level by securing participation from across the host city, the wholesale bike company and, well, everyone is a hallmark of our service. Our client’s meeting showed that our commitment to our clients is contagious!

This meeting resulted in overwhelming success for all organizations involved in the planning and delivery of the event. Participants in the program were recommitted to the message of warmth, community commitment and our client’s brand. A memorable win for all! And, we’re happy to say that we’ve been re-booked for this meeting for 2009.
