The Logistics Team Behind the 2004 MPI Paragon Award Winner!

Mary O'Connor & Company was the logistics management team behind the Meeting Professionals International (MPI) 2004 Global Paragon Award, category II winner. On July 25, MPI honored Starbucks Coffee Company with the award for its 2004 Global Leadership Conference. Mary O'Connor & Company provided conference logistics, food & beverage management and tradeshow management for the 6,500-person event.

Among the complex logistics for the event was the world-record largest coffee tasting - during which 6,500 people were served Starbucks coffee in 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Mary O'Connor & Company has coordinated the coffee tasting event for the Starbucks Leadership Conference for the past seven years in which time we finessed the tasting into a well-choreographed event! We are proud to have been part of the Starbucks winning team in 2004.
